Donation to Brigade Animale Bénevole
On March 8 at 6 p.m. started the sale of a Honu collection dedicated to Brigade Animale Bénévole. Let us take a closer look at how the sale went and what came out of it!
What is the Brigade Animale Bénévole ?
Have you witnessed the mistreatment of a dog or cat? Instead of taking out the baseball bat to go and argue with the kneecaps of the person concerned take a deep breath and contact the Brigade Animale Bénévole (BAB). The Brigade will investigate and reclaim the animal if the volunteers deem its living conditions unacceptable.
After providing all the necessary care they will then look for a foster home for the little furry critter. She will be looked after and will finally be happy after a life that might have been very difficult.

The Ninja Honu
The Honu Ninja collection has been planned for a very long time almost since the birth of the project and it has finally arrived on our beautiful island of Honua Honu!
The world’s 4 most famous turtles are here along with their mentor and two of their main enemies.
Léonard’Honu was not put up for sale as it had been won by AxlCcpr in a competition linked to Tortues de Lilou. So it was with great delay that he received it in his wallet! Thanks again for his patience!
Raphael’Honu went on sale on March 8 at 6:00 pm for $80 and sold out in just a few seconds!
It was followed by Michelangel’Honu on March 9 at 12:00 again at $80 and this time the sale did not last more than a minute.
On March 10 it is Donatell’Honu who sold out in a matter of seconds for $80.
And to finish with the team of good guys Splint’Honu the Honu who thinks she is a rat who thinks she is a human completed this first part on March 11 also priced at $80.
But what would Ninja Honu be without the great villains in the story?
On March 12 a lottery was launched to acquire Honu Krang and his bubble-gum head. The lottery raised a total of 5 EGLD.
And last but not least Honu Shredder ended this special series in support of the BAB with an auction raising 4.15 EGLD!
It is a total of 15 EGLD that have been raised during this special week for the benefit of this wonderful association.
In addition, Ktek, Mikalex82, Ollivander and AlexPaulNice donated a total of 4 EGLD a thousand thanks to all of them!
My EGLD is hurting!
With the EGLD value dropping sharply just after the end of the sale (by over 20%) we were very concerned that we would not be able to offer the BAB the amount initially planned when the sale began. That is why the association had committed to a minimum donation of €600.
But with the time needed for banking transactions and a little bit of luck the EGLD price slowly climbed back up. So the 19 EGLD turned into around €750 which we rounded up.
A total donation of 800€ was made on March 30 via the Hello Asso page of the Brigade Animale Bénévole (plus a 10€ donation to the platform to thank them for their totally free actions).
We hope this money will help the BAB take care of these abused cats and dogs. Congratulations again to them for what they do day after day. And of course a million thanks to all of you without whom none of this would have been possible!
